Fuel Injectors
Fuel injectors spray measured fuel into the engine for combustion.
What it does
Deliver the amount of fuel commanded by the engine computer to each cylinder or intake port.
Failure signs
- Misfire
- Rough idle
- Fuel smell
- Poor fuel economy
- Cylinder injector circuit codes
Maintenance notes
- Confirm fuel pressure, spark, compression, and injector control before replacing injectors.
